September 15^th, 2011 -San Diego, CA – VivanTech, a premier Kuali Commercial Affiliate and a member of KMobility, announced today the deployment of the latest version of the mobile KFS application in production at the University of Southern California. The KFS mobile app 2.0 is designed for current Kuali Financial System users and has many “on the go” benefits, as well as customization options to fit each university’s needs.

The KFS mobile app boasts many features including Action Item Notifications, VivanTech Secure Authentication Proxy (V-SAP) integration, VivanTech ColorKue^TM, “Push” Synchronization, and more. VivanTech has been working closely with USC to implement each of these features plus customizations that meet the university’s current requirements.

The KFS mobile app 2.0 flags items that need addressing in their KFS Action List, while the V-SAP simplifies secure authentication to the KFS environment.

One of the most powerful features of the application is the colorKue^TM detail. It presents the action items (Approvals, Acknowledgements, and FYIs) in a color-coded and prioritized manner. ColorKue^TM has received positive feedback from testers and has proven valuable to many who are involved in the document life cycle, including those who are color blind, due to the specific lettering in each button.
